Immunization take two

Adelaide had her second round of shots today. She's healthy and happy as long as no one is sticking her in the legs. She now weighs 12 pounds 3 ounces and is 23 1/4 inches long. I was hoping for a two footer. Adelaide is bound to be vertically challenged. Genetics are working against her. She's still in the lower growth range, but maintaining the same pattern of growth so the doctor has no worries. Dr. See says Adelaide has a gorgeous shaped head. I think the cesarean played some part in that, but we were so freaked out about the possibility of giving her a flat head that tummy time started almost as soon as she came home from the hospital. It's funny how all those birthing and parenting classes can scare you...perhaps that is their design. Next check up in two months.

Ian is doing much better and almost back to true form. He actually ate some pizza last night and didn't have any problems. Yay! This would be a sad household if we could no longer eat pizza.

And for those who know and love our first born: Hank is doing well and appreciating Ian getting better. Hank is great about hanging out with us when we are sick, but his tolerance for illness and recovery is limited to about two days. Then he starts staring at us with the most pathetic eyes. Such a cutie.

she is such a doll - genetics did something in her favor, even if she's never taller than 5'6". glad to hear that Ian is doing better.

I can't wait to see all four of you!!! Such a beautiful family... even if you are all vertically challenged.
