We are not ready for this, but on Saturday, Wini took her first step. She didn't realize she did, but an actual step was taken. Hurray for Wini Bean! She'll be 10 months old next Monday and the progress she has made in recent months has been shocking. She's gone from a soldier crawl to bear crawl to normal crawl to pulling up and standing to taking a step. Of course, she's still mostly bald...ok, lots of peach fuzz, but you can tell that all of her energy is being spent on developmental milestones instead of growing hair.
I thought our house was pretty baby proof, but it is NOT. With Lima Bean we didn't have to worry about 3+ age group toys being left out. And Wini Bean also loves to eat books and flip flops. Odd.
