Adelaide had her second "well baby" visit at 8:00am today. She is now 22.5 inches long (40.56 length-age %) and 10 lb 5.75 oz (26.3 weight-age %) and considered very healthy. Ian and I thought she would weigh at least 12 pounds, but it turns out she's on the skinny side of healthy. At least she isn't as portly as the babies at the day care center we visited a few weeks ago. Those 4 month olds looked bigger than most one year olds we've seen.
She also got her first round of shots which was very traumatic for us all. I've never heard her cry like that, which proves a happy baby. She fell asleep shortly after we left the clinic and was smiling in the car on the way home. All is forgotten and forgiven...we hope.
